Locaitor is a professional search engine designed to streamline your experience with your local and cloud files, potentially including Google (Drive, Email, etc.), Microsoft (OneDrive, Teams, OneNote, etc.), Dropbox, Box, Evernote, and more. Locaitor requires a read-only connection to your local computer and cloud storage accounts to perform its core functions. During this process, we access metadata (including folder and file names, dates, sizes, and locations), and when selected, index content necessary for effective searching. We do not copy, store, modify, move, or share any of your files or content.
Data Storage and Security
Your privacy is our top priority. Locaitor does not store your files or their content on our servers. All your private data remains stored locally on your device or within your chosen cloud storage services. We implement robust security measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of your data during operation of our app.

The Locaitor application does not use or retain user data available through Google Workspace or any other cloud storage providers’ APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence (AI) and/or AI-based language models (LLMs, MLMs, etc.).
Specifically with respect to Google, Locaitor’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

By using Locaitor, you consent to our limited and secure access to your local files and cloud storage accounts. You retain full control over this access, and you can revoke our access at any time through Locaitor’s and/or your cloud service providers’ settings.
